About Me

I'm a writer, or so I'd like to believe, and I enjoy writing stories in my free time.

My first work is just a jumbled mess thrown all through time but it is what got the ball rolling and me on my writing journey.  However, despite me only completing one work, I do have many other projects.  You see, I can't focus on just one work at a time so I typically have at least three Word documents open on my computer at anytime.  While I am proud of my work, I hesitate at showing it to others.  I'm shy by nature, so when it came to me thinking about publishing via NookPress, well, I grew nervous.  So, what did I do?  I started a blog!  Seems logical right?  This is my a place where I could reach out to people to get insight and suggestions about story lines, characters, etc.  I'm trying to post as often as I can.  Be it a new chapter, a post, or just me rambling about life.

I love hearing what others think, so help me out!  Give me feedback!  Good or bad, I want to hear it! :)

As to who I am....
I'm just that girl sitting in the corner of Starbucks, or Panera, typing viciously.
I'm staring out to the street watching people pass by.
I'm always wearing headphones, but I love to talk to others.
I'm zoning out often, seeing without looking, and losing track of time.
I'm shy, but I can talk a lot.
I'm living in Texas, but I absolutely hate the heat.
Oh, and I may talk about my cat too much.

As to my writing self....
I focus on too many things.
I often hit writer's block.
I never go anywhere without my idea notebook or my Nook.
I stare at my computer for hours on end thinking I'm being productive.
I believe writing is a puzzle, where we need to find and organize the pieces until they fit right.
I think that I lean toward darker musings and the light avoids me often.
